 Topic: Consecration to the Immaculate

 Quote:

St. Germanus of Constantinople

"No one can be filled with the thought of God except by her."

St. Louis de Montfort, True Devotion to Mary, (Tan Books: 1978), 105.

Meditation:

St. Louis de Montfort

"Be persuaded, then, that the more you look at Mary in your prayers, contemplations, actions and sufferings, if not with a distinct and definite view, at least with a general and imperceptible one, the more perfectly will you find Jesus Christ, who is always with Mary, great, powerful, active and incomprehensible 'more than in Heaven or in any other creature. Thus, so far from the divine Mary, all absorbed in God, being an obstacle to the perfect in attaining union with God, there has never been up to this time, and there never will be,  any creature who will aid us more efficaciously in this great work."

St. Louis de Montfort, True Devotion to Mary, (Tan Books: 1978), 105.

Resolution:

St. Louis de Montfort words are full of hope 'even if we turn to Our Lady in a general way we will find her Son. Today, I will renew my consecration to Our Lady throughout the day and believe that She will bring me closer to the Lord. I will continue in my Marian practices.

Marian Vow:

St. Maximilian Kolbe

"What significance do we give our consecration? Do we know how to live it day by day? Are we aware that belonging to the Immaculate has great importance for us and for others?"

I give this resolution to the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Thanks be to God for graces received.
