"My dear friends, be aware of the great gift that priests represent for the Church and the world. Through their ministry the Lord continues to save mankind, to make Himself present, to sanctify. Give thanks to God and above all remain close to your priests with prayer and support, especially in moments of difficulty".

Dear Deacon

Please take a moment to read the following letter which our president, Joe Maher, just received from a grateful priest below.

Thank you,

Pete

I was Totally Lost and Confused

“Dear Joe,

HAPPY FIRST DAY OF SUMMER!!! I hope you are doing well. Again, let me thank you for your loving support and thoughtfulness throughout this. I am forever thankful.

Here's some further good news about the false allegation against me. I found out on-line, that the Federal District Court has dismissed my religious community from the case "with prejudice." However, my community and the plaintiff's attorney must pay court fees, etc. The first time I got dismissed "without prejudice," from the case leaving my community to deal with it from there. But it left the door open for the plaintiff to re-file another suit on the same case, if more and/or better evidence was presented to substantiate the case. This time I found out that the whole case was dismissed "with prejudice," meaning this is a final judgment and the plaintiff "...is barred from filing another case on the same claim." That thus dismisses both my community and me from the case.

Joe, once again, I thank all of you and all those generous people that support you financial so you can continue helping us poor priests with the greatest thanks from my heart. I was totally lost and confused until I found you on-line. Your help and advice made all this possible.

Many blessings on you and your ministry. Someday I'll have a way of return the gift of love you gave me for you or someone else in a special way.

Eternally grateful,

Fr. Dan”

Father Corapi

Many people are contacting us regarding Father John Corapi, SOLT. Although, Father Corapi has been an avid supporter of ours in the past, he has not contacted us regarding his current difficulties. Because of confidentiality, we would not be at liberty to discuss specifics about his case anyways, but Father Corapi has secured his own canon lawyer, civil lawyers and advisers. We continue to pray for him and are always open to assisting him if he would choose to contact us.

Helping More Priests

Please consider helping more priests like Fr. Dan by making an on-line contribution today at our secure website http://www.opusbono.org/donate.html.

A Catholic priest needs your help right now, thank you!
