The life of a lovely young Jewish girl, who is being courted by two very different young men, and her family are at stake.
Meanwhile, the Pope is opening up churches and monasteries to shelter the Jews and working behind the scenes to save as many as he can. Although, some are urging him to publicly condemn the Nazis, the Pope knows that protests by Catholic bishops in the Netherlands resulted in the immediate execution of tens of thousands of Jews. Is he to risk even greater reprisals in the Nazi-occupied nations?
